DESCRIPTION
Montpon is a small market town in the heart of the Dordogne wine making region of France. Well placed being fairly central to St Emillion, Bordeaux, Bergerac, Perigueux and Brantome. Montpon boasts its own beautiful park with swimming lake and cafe and, right on its doorstep (5 mins drive), are two the beautiful lakes and Park at Villefranche, where there is a restaurant, cafe and activities ranging from swimming, water slide, boating, horseriding, fishing and walking.
The Gite has its own private garden patio furniture BBQ for alfresco dining where you can relax and enjoy those long warm summer evenings. With the added opportunity of fishing in the river just a stones throw away - almost from the comfort of your armchair!!.
The lounge is comfortable and spacious opening out with French windows on to the back patio and lawn leading down to the river. There is Satellite TV, Videos and a library of books and games.
The dining kitchen is spacious and has recently been refurbished and equipped.
There are two large bedrooms - one twin/one double.
Separate shower room, with power shower, wash hand basin and toilet.
