DESCRIPTION
To let separately, a house and a barn with pool (20 metres from both) in a large garden, situated near the square of the quiet, perfectly preserved village of La Bastide D'Armagnac. Sleeps up to 13 with additional space for smaller children in an attic room and gallery spaces. Bed linen provided on request.
For the use of people staying in both the house and the barn: there are garden play areas, a BBQ, cot, ping pong table, eight bicycles of various sizes, games, phone, tumble dryer. Pool is 6x12 metres, with large shallow end, 3m deep at deep end. Smoking is not allowed indoors in either property.
The picturesque village has two general shops, good baker, pharmacy, bar, crκperie April to October, home-made ice cream parlour in high season, antique shops. Mont de Marsan is a 20 minute drive.
The house (on one floor) has large open fireplace in the living room, a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, a TV/video, washing machine, bathroom, separate WCs, shower room, covered terrace, parking. Central heating.
There is sleeping accomodation for 6 to 9 people (five adults and four children would be a maximum). There are 2 double bedrooms; one small bedroom with a single bed, 2 bunks, and a cot; and a mezzanine space above one of the double bedrooms with 2 single mattresses.
There is a bathroom (with a washing machine), a separate shower room and two separate toilets.
There is a large shady terrace. There is an open fireplace in the living room, dual-standard VHS and television, a phone, games and all facilities.
The barn has well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, accessible WC plus separate bath/shower room on the ground floor. Large living/dining area, TV/video, washing machine. Terrace. Under-floor heating.
A dramatic gallery with a view over the garden has a double and single bed. A separate, master bedroom has a double bed, and the private room in one corner has bunk beds, a TV/video and hi-fi system. There is a combined bath and shower-room and a separate WC.
There is a spacious living/dining area and large terrace with table and chairs. There is a washing machine in the utility room, from which a narrow wooden staircase leads up to an attic room with two single beds which children love, and this also has a view of the garden.
