Whether you are a family group, a party of friends or a couple and require either B & B, a short break, a fully catered week, or sole occupancy, choose Chalet Esprit. NEARBY FACILITIES
The Grand Massif is an awesome ski area rising to 2500m at the top of the Grand Platieres cable car. From there with the sun shining, the view of Mont Blanc is quite spectacluar and seems astonishingly close. These views from the 'roof of the Alps' are truly worth experiencing and not to be missed!
In winter, Morillon, Samoëns, Sixt and Les Carroz all link at the Plateau des Saix with Flaine to form the Grand Massif. There are 265km of downhill skiing of all levels and a vast amount of specially marked trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and walkers. Also, up the mountains alongside the pistes there are further specialised tracks to explore. Snowboarders are kept happy with state of the art terrain parks, in particular its Jampark concept, which is operational in the three areas of Morillon, Samoëns and Flaine.
The après ski atmosphere is relaxed and friendly with plenty of traditional Savoyard bars and restaurants.If that is not enough, then indulge yourself in husky dog sledding, hot air balooning, parapenting or simply browsing the local market villages and towns.
In Summer the whole area is a paradise for holiday makers, whether you are a family, a group of friends or a couple. With marked trails for walkers and climbers of every length and difficulty, you could go for days! Horse riding along Le Vallée Giffre is available and the nearby lakes and rivers offer superb fishing and an array of leisure activities for all ages. Or why not just simply relax, sunbathe and swim?
If you are a Golfer, why not try one of the fantastic courses on offer in the Haute-Savoie – Why not get a Mont Blanc Pass and play 5 courses (incl. green fees) for only 150 euros per person?
For the more adventurous there are endless and varied mountain bike trails, white water rafting via ferrata and canoeing or if you fancy something different then try parapenting – a more tranquil way to view the mountains.
