The chalet (1891) carefully designed to blend the old with the new, offers you 6 comfortable rooms with its own en-suite facilities and 2 apartments. The generous breakfast and superb cuisine are serverd in the attractive vaulted ceiling living room (70m2) with open fire. There is a second room with DVD player and satelite TV.In summer or in winter you can relax and have a massage in the out door hot-tub with jetstreams after another beautiful day in the mountains.
WINTER: The ''Grandes Rousses'' massif covers 8 communes, 220 km slopes for 3000 hectares skiables, for ski, skwal, telemark or cross-country.
With Alpe d'Huez as its capitol, The Grandes Rousses is a genuine all-round ski resort with excellent nursery slopes, good intermediate runs, long black (difficult) trails and extremely serious of-piste.
Vital statistics are: 3330m-1100m pisted giving 2230m of vertical. 117 pistes-220kms.
Good for all standards: 41 green/ 28 blue/ 27 red and 14 black. 87 lifts: 7 cable cars/ telpher carriers/ 23 chairlifts/ 44 ski-lifts.
700 Artificial snow cannons ensures you perfect ski conditions for the entire ski season.
We will delighted to assist you with many aspects of your holiday: ski passes, booking ski school, hire of skis and boots and quiding.
If you are an outdoor person and a lover of mountain landscapes, discover another aproach to the mountains. Put on your snow shoes and accompony your guide over prepared tracks amidst winter mountain panoramas. You'll discover the wild life, the antelopes and alpine fawn deer.
SOLNEIGE CULINAIR: In the morning we will serve you a generous breakfast with fresh bread and croissants, home made jams, cereals, orange jus, tea, fresh fruit and typical French yogurt.
At the end of the day we will serve you an afternoon tea or aperatif with ''tapas'' in front of the open fire or in summer in our lovely garden.
An excellent 4 course dinner with a choise of very good wines will end another fantastic day!!
SOLNEIGE IN SUMMER: In summer you can go mountain climbing with experienced guides, fish in the lakes and mountain streams and hang-glide. There are tennis courts for free in Vaujany. Do you want to discover the mountains by bike or simply enjoy the peace of walking amongst flowers and countryside of spectacular beauty.
