Spend the day on the vast Blanc-Sablons, one of the largest and best kept sandy beaches in the area, or drive a little further along the coast to the Pointe Sainte-Mathieu to see ruins of the ancient abbey. Regular ferry trips run from Le Conquet to the islands which lie off this stretch of coast. Free from traffic and a haven for wildlife, visit the islands to escape the crowds for a day.
