DESCRIPTION
On Brittanys attractive south west coast Charming 15th-century cottage set within the beautiful 90 hectare grounds of a manor house hotel, along with three other cottages. It enjoys its own small garden near to the owners stable yard, surrounded by the unspoilt forests of the estate, while just below is the Belon river, perfect for leisurely walks. Nearby is the pretty village of Moelan sur Mer, with its 16th-century Saint Philibert chapel, and the picturesque ports of Merrien, Doelan and Brigneau. The local market is held on Tuesdays - a treat not to be missed, with an abundance of fresh produce on display and a superb array of locally caught seafood. The ancient city of Qumiper is well worth a visit, full of Breton charm with its cobbled streets, cathedral and museums. There are creperies and interesting shops to browse around, where the famous lacework and hand-painted traditional pottery can be found.
